There is a worrying trend of racist and aggressive behaviour against foreigners on social networks.
We want to remedy that.
Who are we?
We are a group of 4 students from Hwa Chong Institution who embarked on this project after realising that we Singaporeans have become increasingly insensitive and aggresive, especially online. We want to educate and raise awareness about the issues concerning xenophobia.
OBJECTIVES
Raise awareness about the dangers of xenophobia
There have been countless incidents in which racism and a lack of understanding towards other races, have resulted in conflicts between various races, most of which have turned violent, causing many serious injuries and even, in the worst scenario possible, fatalities. Examples are the racial riots in Singapore, the most recent of which being in Little India.
educate about other races
The most common reason why arguments happen is a lack of sensitivity, a lack of awareness or knowledge about the other races and countries. Of all reasons of xenophobia, educating is the only effective way we can combat this problem.
to promote a cohesive society
A cohesive society in which each and every person respects another's culture will only be possible if we know why and how they are doing whatever they are doing. We need to know to be able to understand, and we will provide you with the information.

Jerald ong
Our leader. Always calm and focused on the task, yet open and receptive to new ideas, Jerald is an ideal and hard-working leader. Able to fully commit to a single task, he is still a joy to be around. He comes up with the content to be placed in the website and powerpoints and is very clear about what he needs to do.
Gavin ong
With his technological expertise, Gavin is the one who created this website and puts the finishing touches on all the presentations. While he is easily distracted, he gets what needs to be done, done.
Brendan tan
The one who saw the need for this project, Brendan is perceptive and came up with the idea for us to embark on this project. He is the backbone of this project and does whatever he can to get this project going smoothly.
samuel tey
Very enthusiastic about this project, Samuel is the one who constantly motivates us time and time again that we should work even harder on our project. He pulls the team together and calls for meetings which helped greatly in facilitating this project. We would be lost without him.
